Starting costs

Nursery fees

Your fees are agreed in writing before starting nursery. We usually issue invoices on the 1st for the month ahead. Deadline for payments is 6 days.

We accept payments by Tax Free Childcare, bank transfer or childcare vouchers. Any special arrangements should be agreed with management.

Holidays and sickness periods are fully payable, as are INSET days when we are closed for staff training. Continuous professional development is a requirement for all colleagues so that we remain eligible for Free Entitlement Provider Status.

Registration fee

£55

This is a one off non-refundable payment collected when a childcare place is confirmed.

Deposit

£500

When a place has been offered to your child you will be asked to secure the place with the deposit. This sum has to be used as part of last month’s fee. No deposits will be refunded.

Late collection fee

£5 for the first ten minutes.

Then £5 for every five minutes thereafter.

Notice period

From September 2019 we require at least 6 weeks notice period which includes a calendar month. This is to make sure that all deposits are used up and parents have time to cancel any further payments.

Your average fees must be over £500 per month to benefit from this scheme

How will this benefit parents?

You can choose any approved nursery for your children
The Tax and NI savings are on the full amount of your nursery fees, savings of between 32% and 47% can be achieved, and is unaffected by the changes to salary sacrifice in April 2017
If your monthly nursery fees are £1000, you can save around £4200 per year as a higher rate pax payer and over £2900 as a basic rate tax payer !!
We can provide Workplace Nursery even if you have an existing childcare voucher scheme in place

Seedlings has spacious facilities and a large outdoor garden so children can get lots of outdoor play and fresh air.
